The persecution of Assad’s supporters continues… and talks on merging the Syrian factions have begun

Yesterday, Saturday, the combing and persecution campaign in Homs, central Syria, which began a few days ago, continued in search of supporters of the regime of former President Bashar al-Assad, who refused to hand over their weapons and ammunition and visit the settlement centers, at a time when the Ministry of Defense in the interim government began holding what it described as organizational sessions with the military leaders. To begin the process of merging the factions into the ministry, at the same time confrontations have continued in northeastern Syria between the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and the factions loyal to Turkey for weeks, causing more casualties among the ranks. Both parties, and while American forces continued to bring more reinforcements to northern Syria, the Pentagon denied establishing a new American base near Ain al-Arab.
