We have built complex systems to moderate content. The problem is that complex systems make mistakes and if they accidentally censor the 1 % of posts, this is still millions of people. We’ve gotten to the point where there’s too much censorship and there are too many mistakes“, he adds.

“Political fact checkers have been too biased and have destroyed more trust than they have built. What began as a movement to ensure more inclusion has increasingly been used to silence opinions and exclude people with different ideas. It’s gone too far,” says Zuckerberg, who announces the change in the next 2 months.

“We will get rid of a series of restrictions on issues such as immigration or gender.
