The Secretary of the National Security Council of Iran met with Aliyev in Baku

Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev and Iran’s National Security Council Secretary Ali Akbar Ahmadian met in Baku.

According to the message of the Azerbaijani side, the senior Iranian official first “congratulated Azerbaijan on liberating its territories from occupation and said that they are very happy about it.”

The press service of the President of Azerbaijan reports that during the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to bilateral cooperation, including the importance of the development of the North-South transport corridor and the format of trilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan, Russia and Iran.

“Armenpress” agency, citing the spokesperson of the RA Security Council, informs that Ali Akbar Ahmadian will also arrive in Yerevan, where he will have meetings with high-ranking officials of Armenia tomorrow.
