Seoul – (AFP) South Korean intelligence confirmed on Sunday that Ukraine captured two North Korean soldiers in the Russian Kursk region, and that it participated in their interrogation alongside Ukrainian services. The National Intelligence Service said in a statement that its agency “confirmed, through cooperation with the Ukrainian intelligence agency, that the Ukrainian army captured two North Korean soldiers on January 9 on the battlefield in Kursk, Russia.” Ukraine, the United States, and South Korea accused Pyongyang of sending more than 10,000 soldiers to help Russia in its war in Ukraine.
