Media: mechanisms for implementing the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip were discussed in Cairo

The Egyptian channel Al-Kakhra al-Akhbariya reported, citing Egyptian sources, that a meeting in Cairo on the mechanisms for implementing the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip ended.

The source claims that “the atmosphere of the meeting was positive, and the parties reached agreement on all issues.”

According to the source, a decision was made to create a joint operational headquarters in Cairo to monitor the implementation of the agreement. The headquarters will include representatives of Egypt, the PA, Qatar, the USA and Israel.
