Intensive Lebanese consultations to form the first government of the era

Beirut – “Al-Khaleej”, agencies: Government consultations intensified in Lebanon yesterday, Monday, and Prime Minister-designate Nawaf Salam was active in communicating with the political forces to obtain from them the names proposed for the position of minister, so that these names could be dropped on the portfolios, amid expectations that the formation will be announced. During the next few days, Israeli violations continued, coinciding with the Lebanese army positioning itself in ten points in southern areas. Salam held a series of meetings with those concerned with the government formation to reach a government draft that he would present to President Joseph Aoun in the coming hours, provided that the government would be according to estimates from 24 competent, non-partisan ministers, and the announcement would be made.
