The President of the United States, Donald Trump, reinforced this Thursday (23) his commitment to the economic revitalization of the country, by asking global companies to transfer their factories to American territory.

In a speech broadcast via videoconference at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, Trump said: “My message to every company in the world is very simple: come and make your product in the USA, and we will give you the lowest taxes of any nation. of the planet.”

The Republican, who apologized for not attending the event due to its proximity to the day he took office, on Monday (20), reiterated that his government is determined to create a more competitive economic environment to attract investment and create jobs in the United States.

“Under the Trump administration, there will be no better place on Earth to create jobs, build factories or grow a business than here in the USA,” he declared.

As part of his strategy to strengthen the American economy, the president highlighted that companies that do not produce in American territory will be subject to tariffs.

“If they don’t manufacture their product in the USA, which is their prerogative, then they will simply have to pay a tariff, of varying amounts,” warned Trump.

The president highlighted that these tariffs on imported products would also generate a significant financial impact, contributing to the national economy. According to him, “tariffs would direct hundreds of billions of dollars, and even trillions of dollars, into the U.S. Treasury coffers to strengthen our economy and pay down our debt.”

In the message, Trump highlighted that his administration intends to promote broad tax cuts for companies that choose to invest in the United States. He recalled that these measures make the country more attractive for global businesses:
