Kan-11: Iran uses Turkey to transfer money to Hezbollah

With Israel tracking Iranian airlines, Iranian diplomats are using foreign airlines to deliver money to Hezbollah. A day earlier, this was reported by the Arabic edition of the Sky News channel, citing a source in the Western intelligence community.

On Thursday, January 23, Roi Case, a correspondent for the Kan-11 TV channel, reported that Iran has recently been using the territory of Turkey for these purposes, or rather foreign airlines flying from Turkey to Lebanon.

Roy Case recalled that in early January, a Mahan Air plane arriving from Tehran was detained for several hours at Beirut airport due to suspicions that the Iranian diplomat on board had millions of dollars for Hezbollah. While the plane was being searched, Lebanese authorities warned Tehran that the money, if found, would be confiscated. According to Roy Case, after this incident, Iran is trying to find alternative ways to deliver money to the terrorist organization.
