Elon Musk intervenes by videoconference to a meeting of the German far -right party AFD

In full controversy after his salvation during the inauguration of Donald Trump considered Nazi by some, the billionaire Elon Musk gave his support, this Saturday, January 25, to the far -right AFD party, by videoconferencing, during a meeting electoral in Germany.

“It’s ok to be proud to be German. Fight for a bright future for Germany, “said the richest man on the planet in front, according to the alternative for Germany (AFD), some 4,500 supporters gathered at the Halle Fair (is ). The founder of Space X reiterated his support for this party again which, according to him, embodies “the best hope for Germany”.

Olaf Scholz, a “crazy” and an “incompetent fool” according to Musk

In a disjointed intervention, he rented the “German nation” which dates back “thousands of years”. The Roman emperor Julius César had already been “impressed” by the desire to fight Germanic tribes. The current government “aggressively suppresses freedom of expression,” he said. AFD must therefore “fight, fight, fight”, especially for “more self -determination for Germany and for European countries and less Brussels”.

 

In recent weeks, Musk has regularly intervened in the internal policy of Germany and other European countries by publishing comments on its online platform X, and openly supporting AFD. In the past, he also qualified the Social Democratic Chancellor Olaf Scholz as “crazy” and “incompetent fool” and President Frank-Walter Steinmeier of “Tyran”.

AFD, training hostile to migrants, is second to second position for the legislative elections on February 23 with 20 %, behind the conservatives of the CDU/CSU with around 30 % of the voting intentions.

“My heart goes to you”

During the inauguration of Donald Trump, Elon Musk had hit her chest with his right hand, before reaching out, palm open. He then repeated the gesture by turning to the rest of the crowd behind him, before declaring: “My heart goes to you”.

 

He gave a speech on stage to the capital One Arena, where supporters of Donald Trump gathered for a meeting of the new American president a few hours after his inauguration.

A gesture that has aroused the astonishment of some, the indignation of others, described by some as “fascist” or “Nazi”, while others defended “an awkward gesture”. The billionaire rejected these criticisms a few hours later, suggesting his detractors to find “best twisted”.
