The White House: We will continue efforts with Israel to release the remaining hostages

Washington – AFP The White House announced that the United States will continue its efforts with Israel with the aim of “releasing the remaining hostages,” praising the release, on Saturday, of four Israeli hostages who were being held by the Hamas movement in the Gaza Strip. A statement from the US Presidency stated, “The United States, with its major partner Israel, will continue to work to release the remaining hostages and seek peace in the entire region.” On Saturday, the International Red Cross announced the completion of the exchange of the second batch of the first phase of the Gaza Agreement, whereby four Israeli hostages held in the Gaza Strip were released, in exchange for 200 Palestinian detainees from Israeli prisons, so that celebrations spread in Tel Aviv and Ram.
