In the framework of the second stage of the gas agreement in exchange for four hostages-the observers of DSAL-Israel released 200 terrorists from prisons. 114 prisoners were released from the Ofer prison and delivered to Ramalla, 16 were delivered to Gaza through the Kerem Shalom checkpoint. 70 liberated terrorists convicted of murders were deported to Egypt.

In the list, published by the Ministry of Justice, 284 prisoners who were serving a life imprisonment, that is, convicted of murders or aiding murder. Among them are the terrorists of Hamas, Fatha, Islamic Jihad and other groups. Most of them are men of 40-60 years old, who have been in Israeli prisons for decades, but there are also young-25-35 years, sentenced to lifelong terms less than ten years ago. Among the liberated there are killers from Gaza, Judea and Samaria, as well as from Jerusalem.
