They were released last week on the first day of the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas. The first three Israeli hostages freed from the Gaza Strip all left the hospital this Sunday, January 26, made the establishment which had been taken care of.
The hostages “transported by plane to Sheba to be treated there are today,” said Sheba hospital in a statement near Tel Aviv.
The other four hostages in a “stable state”
Emily Damari, Doron Steinbrecher and Romi Gonen, three young civilians kidnapped during the Hamas attack against Israel on October 7, 2023, were released on January 19, in exchange for the release of the Israeli prisons of 90 Palestinian detainees.
After being returned to the Red Cross in the Palestinian territory and conducted on the other side of the border to an Israeli military base, they had been taken to the hospital. The establishment said that it would continue to “treat them according to needs in the future”, without providing any details on their state of health or on the treatments provided.
Four other Israeli hostages, soldiers aged 19 to 20 kidnapped on October 7, were released from the Gaza Strip on Saturday in exchange for some 200 Palestinian prisoners. The hospital where they were also transferred said they were in a “stable state”.
