Syria’s new leader announced the dissolution of 18 armed organizations and appointed himself for a temporary president. Soon, Amir Qatar is expected to receive a historic visit to Saudi Arabia, while demanding Russia to extradite Assad.

Abu Muhammad al-Julani (Ahmad a-Sherisa), Syria’s actual ruler, has carried a historic speech in Damascus and declared his intention to rehabilitate the state’s international status. While tomorrow is expected to host Amir Qatar, an innocent Ben Hamad al -Thani – the first Arab leader to visit Syria after the fall of the Assad regime – al -Jolyani is already preparing for a senior visit to Saudi Arabia next week.

A-Shari, who led “Tahrir a-Sham” to victory through an attack that began milk in November 2024, has undergone a complex route from a former El-Qaeda senior to the leader who wishes to be accepted in the international arena. Despite his statements about “full of mercy” victory, reports from the field indicate abuse of collaborations with the previous regime in some areas.
