The Secretary General of the United Nations, António Guterres, has notified this Friday that the plan of the president of the United States, Donald Trump, to send hundreds of thousands of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip to Egypt and Jordan is actually a expulsion equivalent to ethnic cleaning of the population of the enclave.
In an interview with the chain to Arabiya, Guterres has also warned that the expulsion of the Gazati will end up ruining all efforts to establish a peace solution through coexistence between two states, one Israeli and another Palestinian.
The Secretary General has also approached the political future of the enclave, which will be an essential part of the negotiations to continue the high fire between Israel and Hamas, by commenting that the best possible option is that the Palestinian authority, the Palestinian government recognized by The international community assumes the competitions on the Gaza Strip, as it already does in the West Bank.
Guterres, finally, did not want to make estimates on the reconstruction of the enclave given the enormous difficulty of determining, right now, the time and cost of it.
