Soon, the arrival of Morgan Ortagus, deputy special envoy of US President Donald Trump on peace issues in the Middle East, is expected to arrive in Lebanon.
The Ali-Ahbar Lebanese newspaper, associated with Hizballa, notes that we are talking about an even more prosily official than Amos Khokhstein in the Joe Bayden administration. Ortagus insists on the appointments of pro -Western officers to key posts in the Lebanese Army, and also intends to achieve the execution of the ceasefire agreement, within which the Livan regular army will take all (approximately 30) border posts in the south of Lebanon.
The Lebanese media write that Morgan Ortagus is a Jewish. In fact, she was born in a family of evangelists. But during the service in Baghdad, she began to study Judaism. Upon returning to the United States, Giyur passed and accepted Judaism, subsequently married a Jew – lawyer Jonathan Weinberger. In the framework of its professional political activity, Ortagus consistently supports Israel, although it warned the Israeli leadership against the expansion of economic ties with China.
