Abbas Trump’s answer: there will be no world without a “Palestinian state with the capital in Jerusalem”

The chairman of the Palestinian administration, Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen), responded to the initiative of US President Donald Trump on Gaza.

“The world and stability in the region will not be achieved without the creation of the Palestinian state with the capital in Jerusalem on the basis of a decision on two states,” the Abbas statement said.

At a joint press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, US President Donald Trump announced that the United States would take gas control, relocate residents to other countries, and then take up the recovery of the sector. During the meeting with the head of the Israeli government, Trump stated that all 1.8 million residents of the Gaza sector should be moved to countries such as Egypt and Jordan.

Trump confirmed that Hamas should be destroyed. He then stated that the Gaza sector became a “symbol of troubles and destruction”, and life in it was terrible. He emphasized that those who are now in Gaza, “should not be restored to this place and should not stay there.” The US President again stated that it should “turn to countries with a good heart” that will provide the residents of Gaza with new places to live. “All this can be paid by the rich countries of the region,” he said, making it clear that immigrants from Gaza can be directed not only to Egypt and Jordan, but also to other countries. He again repeated that gas today is “this is just a destroyed place”, and in a new place, immigrants ”will be able to live in beautiful safe houses, in harmony and peace.”

The question was asked about whether Trump’s plan on the newspaper means the end of the idea of ”two states for two peoples.” The president answered evasively, again stated that his intention would take place in “building a beautiful society in gas” and “bring stability to the region.”
