Gaza: Israel will release 369 Palestinian prisoners in exchange for three hostages on Saturday

Israel will release this Saturday 369 Palestinian prisoners on the sixth exchange of hostages and prisoners between the Hebrew state and Hamas, as agreed in mid-January as part of the truce and the ceasefire -The-feu concluded between the two parties. The announcement has been returned to the Palestinian prisoner club, which said on Friday evening that the Palestinian prisoners would be released in exchange for three hostages selected in the Gaza Strip since the attack on Hamas on Israeli soil on October 7, 2023.

“In total, 36 sentences to life should be released as part of the sixth exchange, 24 of them will be expelled, in addition to the 333 prisoners of the Gaza Strip arrested after October 7”, 2023, told the AFP President CE L’AGO, Abdallah Zeghari.

A week of uncertainty

The Palestinian Islamist movement ended several days of uncertainty on Thursday, saying that they are ready to respect the calendar agreed in the truce agreement, and therefore to carry out a new exchange of prisoners for hostages.
