Von der Leyen and commissioners will travel to Ukraine on the third anniversary of the Russian invasion

The president of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, and European commissioners will travel next week to Ukraine coinciding with the third anniversary of the Russian invasion, when the United States and Russia are determined to launch negotiations to put an end to the conflict, without Ukraine or the European Union will participate in the first conversations.

The initiative of the European Executive has been confirmed by the community spokesman Stefan of Keersmaecker at a press conference from Brussels, who has indicated that the trip is part of the third anniversary of the Russian attack ordered by Vladimir Putin.
