Metal seekers find coin treasures in Scotland

Metal seekers had a happy hand in Scotland and discovered coins from the Middle Ages. The 30 gold and silver coins date from the 15th century, as the British news agency PA reported. Archaeologists had then examined the site near CapperCleuch and found further coins.

They have already found some wonderful artifacts, “but nothing prepared us for his find,” said one of the two finders. The couple had reported his discovery to the authorities. A committee should now estimate how much the English and Scottish coins are worth. According to PA, the finders should be paid accordingly.
