Trump wants Musk to be “more aggressive” with reforms
US President Donald Trump said on Saturday that he would like to see billionaire and adviser Elon Musk even “more aggressive” in the implementation of his reform program aimed at reducing the government spending of the federal government.
“Elon does a great job, but I would like to see him becoming more aggressive,” Trump wrote on his Platform Truth Social. “Don’t forget that we should save a country,” Donald Trump added.
The American president entrusted Musk to the reins of the Department of Government Efficiency (Doge). The controversial ministry, founded by a Presidential Decree of Trump on January 20, the day of its inauguration, was officially created to modernize “federal technology and software and thus maximize the efficiency and productivity of the government” .
Since Trump is again president of the United States, DOGE employees have been approval from the OVAL Office with the gross brush through the government services. The ministry is generally seen as a project controlled by Musk to shrink and dismantle important aspects of the federal government. Musk himself also does everything to cultivate that image on his own socio -media platform X. For example, he constantly licked his achievements and he claims almost daily that fraud has been found in government spending.
Musk spoke yesterday at CPAC in Maryland, the annual high mass right-wing America. He received a chainsaw from the Argentinian Libertaire President Milei. The Tesla boss showed the saw to the audience and said that he was going to fight “the bureaucracy” with this attribute. The highlight on CPAC is the speech of Donald Trump himself, next night European time.
