Gripping cup fight between Barça and Atlético

FC Barcelona with coach Hansi Flick played a good starting position for the targeted cup final in Spain in a spectacular game against Atlético Madrid. The leader of the Primera División first turned the semi-final first leg in a 4-2 lead after a 0-2 deficit, but had to be satisfied with a 4: 4 (3: 2) after two goals in the final phase.

Julian Alvarez (1st minute) and Antoine Griezmann (6th) initially caused a lightning start of the guests. But Barça achieved quick compensation through a double strike by Pedri (19th) and Pau Cubarsí (21st). Inigo Martinez (41st) provided the 3-2 lead before the end of a highly entertaining first half, which the substitute Robert Lewandowski (74th) expanded after the change of sides. Marcos Llorente (84th) and ex-Leipzig Alexander Sörloth (90.+3) still saved Atlético.
