A helicopter in which the president of Honduras, Xiomara Castromade an emergency landing on Tuesday due to visibility problems because of bad weather, the ruler herself reported.
On the way from the northern city of San Pedro Sula toward Tegucigalpathere was a presence of a dense fog and “We couldn’t go ahead or return”, Castro told local media after the descent of the device in a corn crop in the area of The Balinabout 150 km north of the capital.
