Two suspects arrested and found firearm after shooting at a trial of murdered boxer in Bielefeld, third person on the flight

In a shooting near a court in the German city of Bielefeld, at least four were injured on Wednesday afternoon. According to police sources, the incident is linked to a lawsuit about the death of a former professional boxer. Speurders have found a possible weapon used and arrested two people, a third suspect is still on the run, the police reported on X on Wednesday evening.

On the penultimate day of the trial, the sister of the murdered boxer would have tried to take a knife to the courtroom, but according to the defense’s lawyer, she had to hand over the knife during access control, reports WDR.
