Israel will remove the boycott from three far -right parties in Europe

Israel stops the boycott of three ultra -right parties in Europe. By order of the head of the Israeli Foreign Ministry, contacts with the “National Association” led by Marin Le Pen in France, with the Party “Swedish Democrats” in Sweden, the Voice Party in Spain, will be established. According to Ynet, Israel will continue to boycott the Austrian Freedom Party and the Alternative for Germany party.

The head of the Israeli Foreign Ministry, Gideon Saar, at a meeting with the leaders of Jewish organizations in Belgium, said that he ordered the embassies in France, Sweden and Spain to establish contacts with the indicated parties. According to him, with the indicated political movements, the same connection will be supported as with any other political parties in Europe. Saar noted that the decision was made due to the fact that the positions of political movements are changing, including in relation to Israel, the assessment of the Holocaust and anti -Semitism.

Saar noted that some parties have a “problem past”, but the Foreign Ministry evaluates their real actions at the moment. For example, it was taken into account how party leaders relate to their members that allow anti -Semitic statements. “We do not want to lose friends in Europe, but we do not want to legitimize parties that are tolerant of the phenomenon of neo -Nazism.”
