A decade since the murder of Boris Nemtsov: the authorities have limited access to the memorial

On the evening of February 27, on the tenth anniversary of the murder of Boris Nemtsov, the police closed access to the Bolshaya Moskvoretsky bridge for pedestrians, on which the leader of the Russian opposition was shot in in 2015.

According to Medusa, one of the police officers said that this is due to the preparation of a certain special operation.

During the day, access to the memorial at the site of the murder was periodically closed, and the layered flowers were regularly removed. Among those who came to honor the memory of politics were the ambassadors of Western countries.

In several cities of Russia, including in Ufa, Barnaul, Kazan, Yekaterinburg, the detention of activists and independent journalists who intended to honor the memory of the politician, the OVD-Info reported. Detention was also carried out in Moscow.

Boris Nemtsov was killed on February 27, 2015 near the Kremlin. In the case of the murder, five people were convicted, but the Russian investigating authorities could not establish the customer of the murder.
