The conference on the Syrian national dialogue began work

In Syria, a conference on a national dialogue began to work, designed to outline the ways of restoring the country after the civil war that lasted since 2011. The Kurdish community does not take part in her work.

Forum participants are discussing issues such as the Constitutional structure of Syria, plans for economic and political reforms, relations between different communities of the country, humanitarian and social problems, civil freedoms.

“I urge the Syrians to unite in order to jointly heal the wounds, to wash off the pain of decades of the dictatorship,” said Syrian, interim president of Ahmad al-Sharaa, leader of the Khayyat Tahrir al-Sham group. He also stated the need to maintain the territorial integrity of Syria.

This statement is addressed, including the prime minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu, who said on February 23 that the Jewish state was protecting the Druzov living in the southeast of Syria. “We will not allow the armed forces of the new Syrian regime to stay south of Damascus,” he said.
