History in Turkey: PKK Kurdish Rebels declared a ceasefire

Turkish government, which initiated negotiations through the Turkish National Traffic Party leader in the Chelie, who functioned as a mediator, offered Oklan out of isolation after 27 years in prison.

The PKK Party is an organization with an artistic-chorestone ideology founded in the late 1970s in Turkey. First, the organization was working to establish a Kurdish state in the historic Kurdistan territories located in southeastern Turkey. Over the years, the organization’s aspirations have narrowed to autonomy, including equity and reef rights for the Kurds in Turkey, and a call for recognition of Kurds as an ethnic minority according to the Turkish Constitution. The PKK used terrorism and violence against military and civilian goals to achieve political goals. More than 45,000 people have been killed during the confrontation between PKK and government in Turkey since 1984. The PKK was defined as a terrorist organization by several countries and organizations, including Turkey, the United States, the EU, NATO, Syria, Canada, Iran, the United Kingdom, New Zealand and Australia.
