Egypt proposed a compromise version of the transaction to Israel and Hamas

Egyptian intermediaries proposed a compromise plan to Israel and Hamas. According to this plan, the first phase of the transaction will be extended for two weeks, but during this time negotiations in the second phase should begin, writes the new-Arab al-Jadid publication.

This proposal provides for Hamas Israel to Hamas for each of the two weeks of extending the first phase of the transaction – one living hostage and two bodies.

So far, neither Israel nor Hamas confirmed the readiness to accept such a plan.
