Prime Minister Kyrgyzstan is about to visit Vietnam

Prime Minister Kyrgyzstan Adylbek Kasimalyev will officially visit Vietnam for two days, at the invitation of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.

The visit to Vietnam by Prime Minister Kyrgyzstan Adylbek Kasimalyev will take place on March 6, according to today’s statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Vietnam and Kyrgyzstan established diplomatic relations on June 4, 1992. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Thi Thu monthly, with her peers, Kyrgyzstan Abakirov Meder, affirmed that Vietnam always attaches great importance to and desires to promote friendly relations with traditional friends, including Kyrgyzstan.

The two countries’ relations have made positive developments. The total import and export turnover on both sides of 2024 was nearly 21.5 million USD, according to data from the General Department of Customs.

The two Deputy Ministers affirmed the importance of economic and trade relations in the overall bilateral relations, agreed to effectively implement the FTA Agreement between Vietnam and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) that Kyrgyzstan was a member.
