Trump suspended military aid to Ukraine

US President Donald Trump has ordered a suspension of military assistance to Ukraine, according to the American media representative.

“The President clearly stated that it is focused on peace. We want our partners to be faithful to this goal. We stop and review our help to make sure that it contributes to this goal, “the statement said.

The White House official stressed that this order will remain in force as long as President Trump is not convinced that Ukraine is committed to peace.

The New York Times notes that the supplies of more than a billion dollars will be stopped and their production orders.

Earlier, the US media reported that Trump is preparing for a special meeting with key officials of his administration on Ukraine, during which the issue of freezing or suspending American aid may be discussed.

Yesterday, the US President criticized the Ukrainian leader who stated that Russia’s war could still go on for a long time.

“This is the worst statement that Zelensky could do, America will not tolerate this again,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
