Ukraine confirms the return of seven Ukrainian minors from “occupied” territories by Russia

The Ukrainian authorities have reported on Monday of the return to national territory of seven other minors that from territories “occupied” by Russia in the framework of the war unleashed after the invasion of the European country at the end of February 2022.

The defender of the Ukrainian people, Dimitri Lubinets, has celebrated the return of “seven other children” who were in “the temporarily occupied regions of Jersón, Zaporiya, Crimea and in the territory of the Russian Federation.”

In a message in his Telegram account, he highlighted the “Proucranian” position of the families of the seven minors, three of whom are brothers of the same mother “without means of subsistence” of Crimea.

Also from this territory is at least one of the minors whose father was arrested “for his political opinions, which did not coincide with the vision of the occupation administration (by Russia),” Lubinets denounced.

He also regretted that Jersón’s family-annexed region in October 2022 by Russia-was forced to leave for territory controlled by the Ukrainian authorities after being “subject to constant fear” and before a “pressure (which) became too large” for trying to enter his son in a Ukrainian higher education center.

The Ombudsman not facilitated information about minors or families returned from Zaporiyia, in the east of Ukrainian territory, although he has celebrated that “all are safe.”

Finally, Lubinets has expressed his thanks to the Qatari authorities for their support for the return of Ukrainian children to their homes.
