The relay fasting of Alberto Trentini, the 45 -year -old Venetian cooperative arrested in Venezuela on 15 November last during a humanitarian mission, begins today the relay fasting. Of the man there has been no news since he ended up in the cell. Starting today and throughout the month of March it will be possible to fast in turn, for twenty -four hours. To take part in the fasting relay, just fill in the form on the Bit.ly/diguno- Alberto-trentini website, indicating your data and the day you want to join. The initiative was launched on the Facebook page “Alberto Trentini Libero”.
The Italian government is silently at work but admits that there are difficulties. “We are continuing to work to try to bring it back to Italy, we are not giving up any initiative, but I must say that it is not very easy”, recognized the vice premier and foreign minister Antonio Tajani. Yesterday on the Trentini case he also said the Undersecretary of State to the Prime Minister, Alfredo Mantovano: “We are investing every effort to favor its return but to say more about the case would expose him to risks”.
