In Germany, the Russian was sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of two Ukrainian military

The court in Munich sentenced the 58-year-old Russian to life imprisonment in the case of the murder of two Ukrainian military in Germany, Medusa reports.

The murder occurred on April 27, 2024 in the Murnau community (Verkhnyaya Bavaria district). The defendant’s defense claimed that, a man, while intoxicated, hit two Ukrainians with a knife of 23 and 36 years old, with whom he had drunk before.

According to protection, they had a dispute due to the purchase of alcohol, and they “insulted” him. The man claims that he did not want to kill Ukrainians, but his fuses were “burned out.” He stated that he regrets what happened and blames alcohol in this.

The prosecutor’s office claimed that the Russian-Ukrainian war was the cause of the conflict of the Russian and the Ukrainian military. The court did not consider the political motive for the murder by proven.
