Mr. Trump said he would buy a Tesla car to support Elon Musk

“To the Republican, Conservative and all wonderful Americans, Elon Musk is risking his business to help our country. He is doing great work,” US President Donald Trump posted on social network Truth Social on March 11.

He thought that as usual, “the left -wing extremists were colluding to boycott Tesla illegally.”

“Tesla is one of the largest automobile manufacturers in the world, and Elon’s brainchild.

Musk then posted on social network X to thank the President.

After taking office, Mr. Trump gave Musk in charge of cutting government spending and personnel in agencies, as the head of the Government Performance Department (DOGE). However, Doge’s cut campaign faced many opposition.

Although Musk was trusted by the president, the polls show that he was not supported by the majority of Americans. His efforts in reducing government budget also caused much stress and skepticism.

Tesla’s investors are concerned about the boycott and backlash of the buyer on Musk’s actions as well as the close relationship between the billionaire and President Trump. Some Tesla electric car owners have expressed their regrets when buying a car because Musk joined the political school and shared the conspiracy theories on social networks.

Tesla car owners are not satisfied, even paste on the car with the content “I bought this car before Elon lost his mind”.

Tesla shares fell more than 15% on March 10, amid the instability related to Mr. Trump’s imposition of tax or threatening import taxes, causing the US financial market to fall into chaos. Tesla’s sales also decreased across Europe in recent weeks after Musk was controversial because of supporting the right -right groups, including the German AFD Party in the last election campaign.

Tesla car sales in Germany, the largest automobile market in Europe, last month decreased by more than 76% compared to the same period last year. The total sales in the European Union in January decreased by half of the same period last year.

Earlier this month, dozens of Tesla were burned at an auto dealer in France. Officials said this was a burning attack. Some Tesla facilities in the US were also destroyed.

Tesla has lost more than 1/3 of the market value since mid -2024, as Musk became more and more attached to Mr. Trump. Social network X that he owned also had a problem that could not be accessed for many hours on March 10.

“We are still attacked every day, but this time it seems that the effort to sabotage is made with a lot of resources,” Musk posted on X. “It could be a large group, with a coordination between groups, or a country to participate.”
