In Iran, the adviser to the President of the UAE is waiting for, perhaps he will deliver Trump’s message

Anvar Gargash will arrive adviser to the president of the United Arab Emirates on foreign policy on March 12 to Tehran and meet with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Aragchi.

In the morning, Aragchi said that in the Iranian capital they were waiting for the message of US President Donald Trump. “His letter has been written, but we have not received it yet. The emissar of one of the Arab countries should deliver the letter,” the minister said, without specifying who should deliver the letter.

Recall that US President Donald Trump said on March 7 that he sent a letter to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, calling him to negotiations in order to prevent Iran with nuclear weapons. “I sent a letter to the Supreme Leader of Iran to start negotiations,” Trump said. “Iran should not have nuclear weapons.”

On March 10, the press secretary of the Iranian Foreign Ministry of Foreign Affairs Esmail Bagai said that the Iranian leadership did not receive Trump’s letters. “I want to emphasize once again: the Islamic Republic never closed the doors to negotiations. However, we are not ready for negotiations based on threats and intimidation,” he said.

On March 11, Iranian President Masud Cyzeshkin condemned the Trump administration approach against his country. He stated that Tehran is not Kyiv and not to force him with threats to negotiations. “We do not want to quarrel with someone, but this does not mean that we will humiliately bow. We prefer to die with honor than to live in shame,” the president said.
