Unusual photos: IDF Arabic spokesman Col. Avichai Adraee published today (Wednesday) on the X account (formerly Twitter) photos from an unusual event in the Gaza Strip.
Fighters stationed in the security area of an IDF outpost yesterday identified the figure of a child moving towards them. An examination revealed that it was a small child, 4 years old, who posed no danger. In a conversation with the soldiers, the child said that he had been sent to the outpost by the terrorist organization Hamas.
The IDF stated that the child was returned to the Gaza Strip by IDF forces and in coordination with the Coordination of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) with the international community. “The Hamas terrorist organization does not hesitate to use any means to cynically use civilians and children to advance a policy of terror,” the IDF added, summarizing the incident.
Meanwhile, under the auspices of the ceasefire, the Hamas terrorist organization is trying to reorganize, recruit new terrorists to replace the thousands eliminated by the IDF in the war, rebuild destroyed and damaged terrorist infrastructure, and plant explosives in the ground to allow Israel to resume fighting in the Gaza Strip.
Yesterday, the IDF reported two air force drone strikes against terrorists identified as carrying out suspicious activity in the Gaza Strip. Near the Netzarim highway in the center of the Gaza Strip, a terrorist cell identified as working suspiciously on the ground was attacked, apparently for the purpose of planting explosives. An aircraft attacked them, and in the Gaza Strip, five were reported killed in the attack.
Later, in Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip, a terrorist who had operated surveillance equipment and collected intelligence on IDF forces in the area was attacked. The IDF also stated on the subject that the attack was carried out to remove a threat to the forces.
While negotiations are continuing in Doha, Qatar, to reach an outline that will allow for the release of additional hostages out of the 59 still being held in the Gaza Strip, the IDF is also preparing for the possibility that the ceasefire will collapse and the army will be required to resume fighting. Chief of Staff Lt. Col. Eyal Zamir approved plans for continuation in recent days, with the IDF increasing the pace of training in the south.
