Report: “Trump and Netanyahu want to settle in Syria Palestinians …
The CBS network reported that the US administration had already contacted the new regime in Syria through a mediator, but no response was received • Syria denies: “Don’t know such a appeal”

The United States and Israel contacted Somalia and Sudan, and are now considering contacting Syria, to examine the possibility of a rescue of Palestinians from Gaza in their territories.

The report is based on three knowledgeable factors that talked with CBS. According to one of the officials, the US administration has already tried to contact the new regime in Syria – through a mediator, but no answer was accepted. However, a senior Syrian official said they “do not know about such a appeal.”

In Somalia, too, they said they did not receive an appeal. “Neither the US government nor the Israeli authorities contacted the Somalia government regarding the proposal to transfer to Palestinian territory,” said Dahir Hassan, the US Ambassador to the US.

On Wednesday, Trump referred to his plan for reconstruction of the Gaza Strip and the “voluntary deportation”, saying that “no one was expelled from Gaza.” When asked about the issue of Israel in Gaza, he said that his government was working frantically with Israeli officials to reach the issue.

Trump declared his plan to transfer Palestinians from Gaza early last month. The president has now offered to rebuild Gaza, which, according to his aides, may take 10 to 15 years. To rebuild her, he wants to turn the Palestinians first. At the end of the rehabilitation, he said, he will live there “people from all over the world.”

In a joint statement that then in the White House with Prime Minister Netanyahu, Trump said that Gaza “looks like hell” and that if the Palestinians have “a beautiful place to go – they will go.” He then made it clear: “I am talking about transferring the Palestinians from Gaza for good.”
