The Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Hungary had a telephone conversation

Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and his Hungarian counterpart, Peter Siararton, spoke about regional issues during the telephone conversation.

Mirzoyan highlighted the welcoming position expressed by Minister Siyarto on the finalization of “On Confirmation of Peace and Interstate Relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan”. Ararat Mirzoyan noted that the Armenian side considers the signing of this historical destination to sign the agreement, for which the Azerbaijani side has offered consultations on its terms and place.

The interlocutors also discussed issues on bilateral agenda between Armenia and Hungary.

The Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Hungary discussed the work on deepening the Armenia-EU partnership, including through the most effective use of the existing toolkit.

Baku and Yerevan announced on March 13 that negotiations on the peace agreement were over.
