They find clandestine graves on the farm of the head of the Sinaloa Cartel in Morelos, Mexico

The Specialized Prosecutor’s Office of Organized Crime of Mexico (FEMDO) has found several clandestine graves at the Los Aguacates de Totolapan farm, in the Mexican state of Morelos, where the alleged leader of the Sinaloa cartel in Morelos, Jupiter Araujo, alias ‘El Barbas’, supposedly met with mayors of the area.

There ‘El Barbas’ was summoned in particular with the mayor of Cuautla, Jesús Corona Damián, and with that of Atlatlahucan, Agustín Toledano Amaro, according to the Mexican newspaper ‘El Universal’.

The investigation of the Prosecutor’s Office began in February, when the video in which the mayors arising from PRI-PAN-PRD-RSP coalition shared a table with ‘El Barbas’, together with other leaders in the eastern part of the State, including former mayors and business leaders.

The farm registry began on Friday morning and concluded on Saturday with the discovery of ballistic indications of various long weapons and shotguns, as well as possible clandestine graves.

Last week the mayor of Cuautla, Jesús Corona, said at the municipal headquarters that he would remain firm in the municipal presidency and that he would fulfill his commitment to return peace and public security to the municipality. “Say what they say, here I am firm,” he said.
