Ukraine denounces the launch of more than one hundred drones and two ballistic missiles by Russia

The Armed Forces of Ukraine have denounced on Monday the launch of more than a hundred drones and two ballistic missiles by the Russian army against several parts of the country, without for now there are information about fatalities, in the midst of the war unleashed by the invasion order given by the Kremlin in February 2022.

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Army has indicated in a message in its account on the Facebook social network that the air defense systems have demolished 57 drones, while another 45 “have not reached their objectives and their location has been lost”, before highlighting that Russia has also launched two ‘Iskander’ missiles from the Kursk region.

“The air attack has been repelled by the anti -aircraft missile forces, the electronic war units and the mobile groups of Air Force and the Ukraine Defense Forces,” he said, before confirming that the provinces of Sumi, Donetsk, Járkov, kyiv and Yitomir “have been affected by the attack”, without further details in this regard.

For its part, the Russian Defense Ministry has indicated in its telegram account that Russia’s forces have demolished more than 65 drones launched by the Ukrainian armed forces against the country, also without ruling on victims or material damage.

“During the last night, 66 unmanned Ukrainian aerial devices have been destroyed by air defense systems,” he stressed, while specified that 41 of them have been shot down in the Briansk region, to which 24 are added in Kaluga and one in Kursk.
