Axios: The White House will determine the place of journalists in the briefing room

The US administration intends to take the order of the sealing of journalists in a brief room. This issue for several decades has been under the jurisdiction of the White House correspondents, Axios notes.

At the same time, the leading traditional media, such CNN, ABC, NBC, whose correspondents were traditionally in the front row, can be moved to the rear benches. It is proposed to invite representatives of new media and influential bloggers, more friendly administrations to the presidential pool than journalists.

It should be remembered that there are only 49 seats in the briefings room, and those sitting ahead have an advantage. It is assumed that this measure will not be the only one – Donald Trump regularly criticizes journalists, trying to belittle the fourth power.
