Fire gas pipeline in Malaysia, more than 100 people were injured

A big fire due to gas pipeline leaks in Malaysia caused more than 100 injured and forced many people to evacuate.

The fire occurred on the morning of April 1 in Selangor, next to the capital Kuala Lumpur of Malaysia, due to leaked on the gas pipeline about 500 m long of Petronas State Petroleum Company.

After the fire occurred, Petronas closed the pipe valve. In the afternoon, the fire force controlled the fire.

Malaysian officials said that the victim was killed in the fire, more than 100 injured and 60 of them were hospitalized. About 50 houses were affected by the fire, according to the local fire fire department.

The video extracted from the dashcam shows a huge flame that reaches close to the route with many means of transportation. Another video from afar showed that the fire was so high that it could be seen a few kilometers away from the position.

The fire caused many local people to evacuate. Nizam Mohamad Asnizam, 49, and his family went to the car to run away from the house about 100 m away from the fire scene.

“When I woke up, I saw the fire bursting with incredible sounds and scary. I have never witnessed a fire with such a sound, feeling like sitting next to the jet engine,” he said. “The floor is hot like a pan on the stove, I feel like putting my head into the oven and being burned.”

Amirudin Shari, a leader of Selangor, announced that the local government has established a temporary relief center in the Mosque near the area of ​​the fire. He warned people to stay away from the scene of the gas pipeline during the rescue, rescue and investigation of the cause of the incident.
