Tactical SUV “Beeri” (Flyer 72-LD) was seen by the special forces of the Armed Forces

The Ukrainian army published a video about the activities of special forces on social networks, and on this video you can notice the Flyer 72-LD tactical SUV, or, as it is called in IDF, Beeri. According to the relevant ISRALDEFense publication, this is from the ordinary event, since outside the United States the distribution of such machines is extremely limited.

In 2013, the US Army Command of Special Operations (SOCOM) chose these machines to replace the fleet of obsolete “hammers”. The Ministry of Defense of Israel has acquired several dozens of light tactical cars Flyer 72 for the ISAL only in 2023, in the Israeli defense army these cars called Beeri – named one of the kibbutsev in the vicinity of the Gaza sector, surviving a massacre on October 7.

Flyer 72 is produced by Flyer Defense, a subsidiary of General Dynamics. Flyer Defense was created by the former Israeli entrepreneur, a veteran of the Israeli special forces, Major General of the reserve of Odda Sluestnaya, and is the production of his brother Amit Nehushtan.

Flyer 72 is highly mobile in difficult conditions and can be adapted for various missions. In addition to the United States and Israel, these cars were purchased by the armies of Italy, Singapore, Great Britain and the UAE. But so far it has not been known that such cars also entered the Armed Forces of Ukraine, although Ukraine received extensive military assistance from the West, including many types of vehicles. Neither the USA nor Israel on the supply of these SUVs reported to Ukraine.
