Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan exchanged views on the situation in the South Caucasus region, particularly the EU Special Representative for the Crisis of the South Caucasus and Georgia Magdalena Gronon in Yerevan.
Both sides stressed the importance of the agreement of the draft agreement on the “Approval of Peace and Intergovernmental Relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan” agreement. In this regard, Pashinyan stressed the loyalty of the Government of the Republic of Armenia to the peace agenda.
Grono stressed the importance of signing the agreement and expressed confidence that it will contribute to long-term peace and stability in the region.
The parties touched upon issues related to the further development of Armenia-EU relations and the EU with the effective implementation of democratic reforms in Armenia.
Magdalena Grono was also received today by Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan.
