The examination of the issue of the law on the confiscation of property of illegal origin has been completed in the Constitutional Court. The Constitutional Court has left the deliberation room to determine whether the law corresponds to the Constitution of Armenia or not. It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post. This was reported by the Public Relations of the Constitutional Court.

Based on the opposition’s application, the Law on the confiscation of property of illegal origin has been challenged in the Constitutional Court for more than two years. The high court does not clarify why the law did not suspend the law during his investigation.

More than $ 17 million has been returned to the state with 12 verdicts. In recent years, 136 lawsuits have been sent to court, and 2,50 billion drams, and 270 mobile, 1381 real estate confiscation.
