Fire broke out in the kitchen: five deaths at Hostel-Brand in Poland

PSZOW (Poland) – Five people died in the fire of a house used as a hostel in the small Polish town of Pszow. Twelve other people could be brought to safety by the fire brigade from the burning building.

120 firefighters with 34 emergency vehicles were involved in the extinguishing work. This was announced by a spokesman for the Interior Ministry on X.

According to the head of the area administration, the operator of the hostel is said to have had no approval for his business. The public prosecutor has not yet confirmed this with the reference to the ongoing investigation.

According to the public prosecutor, both the owner of the building and the head of the facility have already been heard.
