A dead person fell in Paris and a person was seriously injured in a cryotherapy session, the public prosecutor announced on Monday.
With cryotherapy, the body is exposed to extreme cold, which would be good for all kinds of disorders and to strengthen immunity.
The facts took place in a sports hall in the 11th district of the French capital. An employee of the establishment died, while a customer was taken seriously injured to the hospital. From the first elements there would be a leak in a cryosauna, causing nitrogen to escape.
“An autopsy and toxicological analyzes have been ordered to determine the precise cause of the death,” says the public prosecutor.
