US President Donald Trump has made it clear that several Middle Eastern states, as well as Indonesia, have expressed their readiness to send troops to the Gaza Strip and enter into direct confrontation with the terrorist group Hamas.
“Many of our excellent allies in the Middle East and beyond have clearly and enthusiastically informed me that, at my request, they will be willing to send serious forces to Gaza and ‘bring their Hamas to its senses,’” he wrote on the social network Truth Social.
Trump said he told those countries and Israel that it was still early: he still hoped Hamas would do the right thing. “But if this does not happen, the end of Hamas will be swift, brutal and furious,” the US President added.
Trump expressed special gratitude to “wonderful Indonesia and its wonderful president” for the assistance provided to the Middle East and the United States. Let us note that earlier Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto announced his readiness to send military personnel to Gaza, but there was no talk of clashes with Hamas.
