Trump does not want to rule out the possibility of atomic bombs being detonated during nuclear weapons tests

US President Donald Trump leaves it open whether the ones he announced Nuclear weapons tests also the ignition of The atomic bomb include.

In response to a question in front of reporters on board Air Force One on Friday, he said: “You will know very soon, but we will do some tests.” He further said: “Other countries do it. If they do it, we’ll do it too, okay?” This leaves it unclear whether Trump only has flight tests of nuclear-capable missiles in mind.

On Thursday, the president announced that he had ordered the military to resume nuclear weapons testing after a break of 33 years. This was seen as a message to the rival nuclear powers China and Russia.

Trump’s decision follows a rapid buildup of China’s nuclear arsenal in recent years. Russia also recently announced successful tests of a nuclear-capable cruise missile and a nuclear-powered torpedo.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly referred to his own nuclear arsenal in connection with the war in Ukraine, apparently to warn Western powers against direct involvement in the war.
