Russia launched more missiles against Ukraine in October than in any other month since at least early 2023, for about night attacks especially directed against the energy grid, according to an analysis of Ukrainian data carried out by AFP.
Russian forces launched 270 missiles at the country in October, 46% more than in September, according to a compilation of figures provided daily by the Ukrainian Air Force.
This is the highest number of missiles launched in a month against Ukraine during night bombings since the Ukrainian Air Force began publishing these daily reports in early 2023.
The Russian attacks left tens of thousands of people without power.
